Friends

Back at the end of May, I took Whitney and Tiffany, some soon to be 8th grade girls, out for a photo shoot in the park. These girls are best friends; inseparable. We did some individual shots of each of them, but we had the most fun shooting pictures of the two of them together. We had a blast! I think I wore them out a bit with all of the jumping-- but they got some pretty impressive air and it made us laugh hysterically. The girls were very adventurous and willing to go/climb/sit in pretty much anything we thought would make a great picture.
I posted my favorite shots of each of them below as well as a video of their proofs.

Sunrise, Sunset

Was just going through old pictures trying to find a cool sunset to use as a background-- ran across all of these and thought I'd share.

It's all a blur...

I've been going through some old photos and found these pictures of the ferris wheel at Adventureland that I shot for my Photo class a couple years ago. This is when I was studying the effects of shutter speed, and motion, speed, and time.

Gilliland Family Photos

I got the chance to shoot some photos of my cousin Matt and Kristy's family back in April. We had a lot of fun. Their girls Brittney and Bria are just about the cutest little girls ever.
I put together a video of their photos.

Here are a few of my favorites...

Burg Family Photos

I ventured out with the Burgs again last week, this time to shoot some family pictures. We went to a park in Cambridge and as the mosquitos feasted on our arms and legs, they posed beautifully and I shot some photos-- resisting the urge to itch my mosquito covered arms off. I think we got some really great shots.
My favorite photos are posted below. The rest are included in the short video.

Thanks guys! It was fun!

Rhode Island

Dave, Sophia, and I, along with Dave's sister and her husband, as well as his parents, all traveled out to Rhode Island a couple of weeks ago. It was a fantastic experience. Along with getting to meet many of Dave's family for the first time, I was able to experience some of God's amazing creation. The beauty of the cliff walk, with the powerful waves splashing against the rocky terrain was unforgettable. Believe me, I took A LOT of pictures... of course. I won't bore you with all of them, but here are my favorites from our trip.

Picture 1: in Jamestown
Picture 2: the view-- when we went sailing; love the fog covering the top of the bridge in this one.
Picture 3: This is the one I think looks piratey-- eerie fog, black sail, etc.
Picture 4: carving on a pillar at the Braker's Mansion
Picture 5: Chris and Nae smoochin' on Cliff Walk
Picture 6: an amazing/gothic looking church in Boston
Picture 7: another view while sailing
Picture 8: the tunnel on Cliff Walk
Picture 9: a sail boat caught in the fog
